Hi all. I have a Ludwig kit for regular playing, but also a Traps portable kit for easy moving around. http://www.trapsdrums.co.uk/products_a400.asp
As I can easily reduce the size of the Traps kit, it's perfect for teaching my 6 year old.
It's a great little kit, with a very good sound. However, I can't get a decent tone from the bass drum. Unlike Flats, it has 2 heads.
Which heads would you recommend for the 20" kick drum, to get a nice warm tone, and with no need to muffle?
