Listen to them before ordering because you might be deceive by their sound. When I tried them, I didn't like them at all. It reminded me of my Sabian B8, it did not that "silver" sound in them. I mean to much bright & shimmering with long harmonic decay.

i'm not sure i understand... you already have a wonderful crash (17" AAX Studio), going to a 16" Apx would be a big step backwards.
if i was you spend the money on a quality pair of hats or a nice ride, maybe from the AAX line up, i've played the Apx cymbals - they are'nt as nice as your AAX crash - try building around an already great crash.
my .02$, good luck any way you go!

if you want to go with sabian, i'd go with aa's or aax's in a traditional finish. i had a set of sabians a while back (20" Paragon Crash, 20.5" Chad Smith Explosion Crash, 24" AA Medium Ride T) and the only thing i liked was the ride. it was too big though. I also had an AAX 21" Stage Ride in a brilliant finish. not to good though. i'm not a sabian guy, but the traditionaly finished aa and aax's sound really nice to me.
it all depends on what you want to spend and hear. if i were you i would not go for the APX's at all. i honestly dislike the sound of them. and they're priced to high for B8s. If you want to spend top dollar though, HHX would be the prime. Loud, Clear, Durrable, and Beautiful.

the problem is that I often play in gigs and my aax is geting really damaged, and its not loud enough.

From what i've heard of apx they're somewhat one-dimensional so if your looking for loud and aggresive then go for it, otherwise i'd possibly try out xs20's.

I play in a rock band but I also like jazz, funk and drum'n bass.
the aax is awsome, but i want something to cut trough.

The AAX proabably DOES cut through, you just don't know it.
The APX are loud. Just...REALLY loud.

the AAX doesn't sound loud enough but it has an exelent sound, it blends trhough music.

Couple of thoughts, here:
1. Just because they are B8 doesn't necessarily mean they are a downgrade from your AAX. B8 is pro level material when manufactured using a pro level process. Paiste 2oo2, and Giant Beats come to mind. Before all the purists pile on, I am not insinuating that APX are on par with 2oo2s or not, just citing an example of pro quality cymbals using B8.
2. The sound characteristics of the cymbals seem to be your focal point and that's perfect. You wanted the cymbals to cut more than what you have. APX will do that. However, you mentioned playing jazz, and not many characteristics associated with jazz and APX are shared. The APX sound is unique, but I don't feel the APX line is very versatile. Good for loud, amp'd gigs with loud amp'd guitars. However, if your technique and playing style made APX sound good in jazz, then Peter Erskine will wear jacodrummer pajamas to bed.

Thanks for the compliment.
The AA Rock is very nice and will do well with what you've described (ya know, excluding jazz). And, as luck would have it, mine's for sale. PM me if you'd like.

how much does it cost?
If you go to guitarcenter.com
then to cymbals.
then to sabian you can click on any cymbal and you will see a sabian video clip from NAMM featuring the APX. they sound godawful to me.
probably a heavier AA like a medium or rock crash should do the trick.
guitar center has a 50% off sale right now plus you can get a free 15" china.
I think holiday sales were slow and retailers are looking to unload some stuff. their loss your gain.
