Well, I've got a 14" and a 16" crash. I'm think maybe a bigger crash like an 18" would make my set up more...normal. Should I have a crash over 16"? I play rock...at times progressive. It just seems like I have small cymbals.

I think you already know the answer.
In other words, it seems like a kind of "why not" thing. If you want it, and can afford it, go for it! Don't just get it to be "normal" though.

Definitely. A lot of people on here actually prefer all there crashes to be above 16", myself included, especially if you play rock. Bigger crashes are just so much "fuller" and more powerful than smaller ones.
and 805 is very correct about the normal thing. Do what you feel is right.

Absolutely.
Especially playing Rock or Metal. It's nice to have the power of larger cymbals that cut through the mix of earth shaking bass, guitars and in your face vocals. The smallest cymbal on my kit rt now is 17". An 18" would be a perfect step up for Rock.

18" crashes are my go-to - more power at high volume, and more tone and colour at lower volumes. I usually like to have a 16" as a higher accent to the 18", but heavy gig's require 18's and up.

Size doesn't matter under amplification. But if you don't mic your cymbals, then size absolutely matters!!!
