HOW MANY OF YOU GUYS PLAY WITH AN MPC? MY QUESTION IS WHY WOULD A DRUMMER NEED AN MPC?

MY QUESTION IS WHY DO YOU TYPE IN ALL CAPS?

Other than that, what do you mean by "MPC?" I Googled that, and the top search responses were:
1. A computer company
2. Monterey Penninsula College
3. Media Player Classic
4. Minor Planet Center
5. Media Player Classic (again)

So, uh, what?

I believe he's referring to the Akai MPC sampler. My response is, why not?

I worked for MPC (formerly MicronPC, formerly Micron Electronics) for a year here in the Boise area. They made really great computers, once upon a time.

AKAI MPC , a classic machine. DJ shadow produced "endtroducing" from one of these wee beauties!

I have a few triggers I've built into my drums as well some pads I use along with my acoustic set up. I either trigger amy laptop of direct to a 303. embrace the drum machine. anMPC would be god though.

I have an MPC2000 and love it to death, I am also a hip hop producer/emcee besides playing my drums.... besides you can't sample with a drumset... unless its electronic of course ;-P but to be serious, these machines are beautiful and will never go out of style.
