New drummer here. Is there somewhere I can find "drum tabs" to songs that have actual notes. Is this a problem?

I used to play a saxaphone once upon a time and sing and know how to read music but these so called tabs (that I have seen) are really hard to read.

Is there a place I can go to downloead or buy sheet music for drums with actual notes (ie quarter notes, sixteenth notes, rests, et al)?

Thanks in advance.

Well, most music stores (at least local ones, not sure about Guitar Center) sell books full of drum music. However, online, you're pretty much just gonna see tabs. It's just easier to put online, because tabs are just text.

Check out your local library's music section.

There are some drum transcripton books by Hal Leonard with play along CDs. They have real drum parts, not tab. Here is a link to the Funk, but there are other books in the series. The Pop Rock one has the Rosanna groove.
