I don't see emoticon after your post, so I really don't know what you meant by that... However I can tell you, that there are places on world were it's very hard to find any music store with decent selection of pedals. Yes you can order different brand pedals, but you can't go there and just try them, because they are simply not in store. Footboard lenght can affect players level of comfort. I think it would be very nice, if drummerworld members could share this info.
Another example are drum thrones. Often manufacturers don't write maximum or minimum height of drum throne. Even if someone has used older or different model of same brand and knows that it's stable and ok, he/she can't be always sure about his new thrones height(unless his drumshop has nice selection of them).

I was trying to think of the most useless, irrelevant measurement of a pedal possible that has no correlation to the way it functions or feels.

People usually don't go around weighing their pedals. If the manufacturers don't provide that information, you might not be able to get it. Why would such a thing matter? Unless you are on a serious quest to reduce the weight you have to haul around, the weight of gear isn't such a big deal.

I know the Axis are aluminum, so I think they'd be the lightest, but other things, like feel and reliablity, should come first.

I try not to take chances. So far, two individuals read posts I made. They automatically assumed I was an angry dude making some kind of insulting comment. Thier response (both on the forum and in PM) were completely humorless. They no longer post among us, they have been sent to find new homes for angry, humorless drum forum participants.

Don't know the exact weight and i no longer have the cobra or the 9002 but as memory serves me, the lightest I've had is the Trick, then slightly more was the cobra then a lot more was the 9002. I'd tend to think that the axis is lighter than any of them, from what i've seen in person, its parts aren't as thick as the Trick and they're both made from aircraft grade aluminum and titanium and even though the Trick looks massive in comparison, the cobra and the 9002 are steel which gives them much more substantial weight. Hope that helps.
