Im not really interested in buying this, but:
While searching on Ebay for a Tama boom cymbal stand, an offer of an Iron Cobra Jr. came up.
What is the difference between the regular Iron Cobra, and the Iron Cobra Jr.??? are they smaller? less sturdy?

I owned one and I got it for 80 bucks a long time ago at GC. I thought that the left kick was slow responsive, it just wasn't a great pedal. I resold it on ebay for 125. I made a deal out of it and the person liked the pedal and I didn't like it at all. I got the single pedal IC which is way better.

Nice, making a profit of like, $45.
So, what do you mean the left was slow, could you of tightened it?

I have an Iron Cobra Jr., and its actually pretty good.
Came with my Superstar kit, and I have no complaints.
It's called the "Junior" because of a few similar features (it has a small offset in the cam, "Powerglide", and a few minute other things) along with the Iron Cobra being pretty much all of Tama's pedals. It's like a DW 5000 and 9000, they share portions of the same name to indicate which is better/worse.

I had it cranked. and it just wasnt as fast as the right. ive played on 9000 and 5000. the IC jr is nothing comparable to them
I have a Iron Cobra Jr. double pedal. The price was right and it had a lot of positive reviews so I bought it. I agree that there is a difference in the response of the slave pedal. I've tried different tensions left and right but the left pedal just feels a tad different. It's minor, but noticeable.
Otherwise, it's a sturdy unit with smooth operation. It does the job and I won't need anything better until I get better myself.
(Note: I've never played with any other double pedal so my frame of reference to the competition is nil.)

no problems at all. For the Price, I think it's worth it.
Good Luck!

^ I bought one of these to use while I figure out what I really want to use long-term. 18 months later, and the thing is doing better than just holding up - Its kickin butt! I think the HP200TWB is one of, if not THE most underrated budget pedal around.

In that case, I may have to give it a try!
