Anyone here know of any drum notation softwares for the Mac OS X. It's a pain to draw it out and I think it's nice to have especially for teachers!
Thanks!

I've got Sibelius. But I can't really work with it... I don't need to write down that much so I didn't try to learn
But it looks nice, many different lay outs and styles.

And do either of these pieces of software work in Windows? I have to write alot of drum notation out by hand and software would be great!

Finale, which is what I use, has a Windows version.

Had a look and all seems pretty expensive stuff - any cheaper options?

Did you want to buy them?
I didn't just try to download them somewhere
Finale full version costs $600...

It's not wise to parade around and say you've downloaded illegal copies of expensive software.

FYI, Finale Notepad retails at $9.95, and should be quite enough for your needs. The more costly versions are for professional use and they are priced accordingly.

Totally agree with you about the downloading.

Thank you, will look it up, no way need the pro version.
