hey for my piano class my professor wants us to pick a piece and play it. i choose this piece: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_z6PAdH4Tk its a very slow ballad type piece in g minor. he wants me to pick another piece in addition to that one( cause i blew by that one in a day).
any one have suggestions for a second piece? i do like minor keys but i am open to anything. not to long and not ridiculously hard either(i have only been playing a little while)
please and thanks =)

Try Bohemian Rhapsody or Save Me, songs by QUEEN. Freddy Mercurie played the piano very good.

The first thing that comes to mind is the Chopin Prelude in A Major, or find an easy prelude in a minor key, I think the c minor one is easy.
(Chopin played piano very good too.)
I would recommend the The Music for Millions series Easy Classics to Moderns published by Amsco

if you like working hard then i say Chopin Ballade 1 in G minor. i played it at my senior recital couple years ago. its pure passion!! but pretty difficult. depends on what you mean by "a little while" i guess.... hope you find something you like playing!

This is my fav. My niece would listen to me playing it growing up as a child. Both she and her sister took piano growing up. When I attended her first recital at age 13, she played this tune and I cried.
