DW 7000 Double Bass Pedal Help

Ok seeing its a little late I can't really play or tinker around, but I have a question about positioning the double bass pedal wide enough so that my snare drum isn't rubbing up against the side of my legs. For the time I was able to mess with adjustments I was already almost as far as I could go before they wouldn't be held in anymore. I think I'll be able to figure it out but I'm just curious as to how you guys set up your double pedals comfortably.

I don't have any problems. I just adjust the "u" joint rod with enough width to get the pedals where I want them.

I actually placed my pedal to feel comfy and then placed my hi-hat on the left of the slave pedal and found it was still comfy to use the hi-hat then I placed my snare stand between the master & slave pedal and there it was...

note.: My slave and my hi-hat pedal are now more "V" aligned than on this pic.
