Hi there, I have an opportunity to trade something of little value for these drums below. Is it worth my while. How good are Westbury drums? I have been drumming for and year and a half and have a cheap set of electric drums which I could sell and pick this up with. Is it worth my while or should I wait until I can get a real good drum kit?

It's a generic imported beginner's kit, which is fine if you're just starting out, I suppose. I wouldn't give more than $150 for them, and only if the toms' & bass drum's resonant side edges are undamaged from not having heads & rims on them, and if they still have said heads & rims. They've also got the bass drum set up backwards... lemme guess, Craigslist?

If you're serious about drumming and not just dabbling, save up 5 or 6 hundred & get a good quality used kit instead.
