Getting music from Windows Media on to iTunes

I have tried to get a few meshuggah songs on to iTunes from windows media palyer (i just got an Ipod on sunday, one of the new nano's. it is the black 16GB version, tasty) and it wouldn't let me, i think they must be protected files or something because when i try to drag and drop them in to iTunes nothing happens. Does anyone know any way to get those little buggers in to iTunes?

I believe you need to add it to you library in I tunes first. If not you can burn a CD from them in Wimdows Media Player then rip them back to I tunes

problem solved, i went on the "add file" bit on the top and it put them in.
