wow saw these guys live in concert yesterday october 25th at the Cats Cradle in Chapel Hill, NC... amazing band and musicians... what a great show.

Yes, great band! Very diverse, I love the throwback style they have, yet it can't be nailed down. It's nearly timeless! I'm very shocked that they actually broke through the mainstream as far as they did cuz they are not a radio friendly band, especially back in the late 90's to early 2000's. I bet it was a treat seeing/hearing them live. Was it nice and loud? I would love to hear those wind instruments at great volumes.

Jimbo Mathus sure found his calling in that band!

yea it was a perfect volume.... the horns were awesome, along with the fiddler too. they even were dressed up in like 1930's styles clothes. also they ended the show by them all walking around in the crowd playing instruments (drums and a huge tuba thing) playing this cool funky melody and then walked out the venue like that lol.

I started listening to them along with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Good swing and drumming.
