i have a 22x18 pdp maple mx drumkit and i want a new head that is going to replace my stock dw head. I want something VERY FOCUSED without using a pillow. I want it punchy and very loud with great attack with a nice thump.
I was thinking emad 2 or super kick 2. i played a regular emad on my same kit at my friends house with a evans pillow muffler inside and it sounds really good. I want to get emad 2 because i dont want to use a pillow so im thinking it will be more focused and thats what i want. So you guys think emad 2 or superkick 2?
