Benny Greb

Hello my name is Jon, I am a 14 year old drummer (played for two years) and was recently accepted into an arts school. I have three questions about Benny Greb. First off what kind of rudiments does he do around the kit? Ive seen lots of rolls are these double stroke, single stroke, I belive ive seen six stroke rolls. Secondly will he be coming to Toronto anytime soon? Last but not least, is it true hes coming out with an instructional dvd? What should we expect to see on it...?

Benny is quickly becoming one of my favorite drummers. His groove is impeccable.

What doesn't help? I gave you a link to Benny's website which has his schedule for the near future--Canada isn't in it--and he talks about finishing up his DVD for Hudson. The Drummerworld link has some of Benny's tunes which you can download and do some transcriptions to discover what rudiments he uses. If you do a search on this forum, you'll see a thread with transcriptions of some of his stuff.
