Small review: Simply put, buy yourself a pair of these! These sticks are bigger at the back and taper to a small tip (not like a piccolo/bolero size but a sort of sharper version). They have a unique feel too. I was watching the Vic Firth videos on the website of Peter Erskine talking about his special sticks, and he kept going on about the feel, so I said to myself, "I must try these". Well he was right, they really do have a nice balance that allows you to play all dynamic levels with one stick. The small tip is great for playing soft but the stick has enough weight in reserve to give a solid sound unlike thin sticks. I'd recommend these for jazz, latin, funk, rock n' roll, electronic stuff too (feel great on v-drums), and even orchestral situations. Actually, they could be used for anything, but the smaller tip does control the volume, so playing in a stadium may not be the best choice.
