i also managed to fit all of my mics in the audix case.
i had to cut a little bit of foam out to fit my old i5.
the clips, at3035s, and there shockmounts fit under the top piece.
there is extra room for two pencil mics.
i plan on getting a matched pair of octava mk012 or rode nt5 for the hats and ride.

I really love these pictures, your kit is very photogenic :)
Congratulations on the new mics, do we have any recordings?
Also, do you have a thread about your kit, I would love to see more

yeah here (http://www.drummerworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39614).
i just updated it too.
no i dont have any sound clips with these mics but i will soon.
trust me i want to hear them way worse than you do...
and far as my kit being photogenic... i am very obsessive about the look of my drums.
i try to keep them as looking good and as clean as possible.
honestly though, they are way more fun to play than to look at.

Good going, TB! I'm about to get mine too for my home kit. What mixer are you running them thru? What soundcard do you use? Are these for recording only or are you running them on a PA too?
( I'm getting dizzy & disoriented seeing my name on your signature ; )

i need to come up with something sharp and witty to make your signature.
i use a presonus firestudio and a macbook with logic. its not the best but it works.
i will be using the d6 live more than the others.

nice one, good recording set up you got there. I really could do with investing and getting a setup like that. Nice stuff!

I've recorded with an Audix D6 and a yamaha subwoofer on my kick drum before. it's the best combo you an possibly record with forsure. DW drums also.

At a quick glance, you could fool someone into thinking that's a DW in the studio. Looks fantastic! Let me know what you think of that D6.

Very nice kit. Yeah, I'm interested in the how you like the D-6 as well. I am in the market for a new kick drum mic and I have had my eye on that one. Enjoyed the pics!

Mapex, I use the D6 for my kick and D2's and D4's for rack and floor toms, respectively. Very pleased w/ these mics for both inside and outside venues. The D6 is a very focused kick mic.
