New kick drum hoops.

First, sorry for a thread containing only a kick. The hoops that originally were to come mounted on my kick finally arrived(eight months late.......long story).

For anyone who hasn't seen it, it's a Drum Workshop 16x26 with Black Ice(Black Glass) FinishPly NOW WITH chrome FinishPly hoops. I'll try to get updated kit pics up soon.

Yeah, I forgot to vacuum!

Chrome (colored) hoops should be more popular these days, because they look absolutely fantastic! Especially with the chrome hardware.

As Ironcobra said, those chromed bass drum hoops look awesome with the chrome hardware and the black sparkle finish adds something very beautiful!

Where did you get the hoops? Did they get wrapped?

Karl, the hoops are from dw. I ordered the kit with these hoops installed, but due to a rushed assembly it was shipped with matching ones. These were sent to me at no charge.

I'll try to get some "more recent" kit pics up soon. As for now here's a link to my older, temporary set up thread.

Some changes:
- I no longer use the Roland pad.
- Location of sampling pad and mixer.
- All drums are triggered through the Roland SPD-20.
- I'm primarily using the Zildjian 15" Rock Hats instead of the Paiste Heavy Hats.

I have to say adding those hoops to that kit makes the whole kit look better.
it always amazes me what badd hoops can do.
