Sinking snare basket

Heyo guys, simply put, I have a snare stand that I got from somewhere, and the snare basket keeps sinking. The top part of a snare stand is a vertical rod and the three clamps right? And it's clamped onto the bottom by this black plastic piece that's usually a ring. I think there's something wrong with the ring. I'm not sure, I just clamp that ring tight as hell but the basket still keeps sinking all the way down after like, each song. It's really irritating

I was wondering what are the possible reasons for this, because I wanna solve it, without buying another snare stand. Maybe just some hardware components.

Maybe because it was cheaper, and a no name brand and the quality is worse?

But if thats it I would just get a DW one or something.

I think it's a Tama, but that's not the point. If the quality worse, I'd like to know how that translates to a sinking basket, like which component caused this.
