I am having a small problem. I really want to mount this cowbell somewhere on my kit but I can't find a place or way to place it.

I don't want to clamp it to my bass drum hoops. And I don't have a mount on the bass so thats out. It can't go anywhere around my snare. I've considered it on the top of the hi hat... but it seems to make too much noise and shake. This means that I have to find a way to put in on one of my two other cymbal stands which are both very far away, and already nearly innaccesible.

Is there a method I've missed?

Is there a special clamp that I can use to hoop it to a pedal perhaps?

Any ideas?

You can mount a cowbell on any cymbal stand or a standard L rod (Pearl models won't work, obviously). You could, for example, clamp another boom arm to an existing cymbal stand and position the cowbell where ever you like.

You can also use a "Gajate bracket" or its equivalent from other manufacturers to play the bell with a foot pedal.

I use this LP clamp, I put it on my hi-hat stand but it will go on any stand you choose.

TAMA makes one as well

I have it mounten on a cymbal arm from my tom mount on the bassdrum. Placing it between te 2 toms end let it res just a view cm from the snare.
