The idea behind this thread is to give songs that showcase good swing, for one to play along with to develop their own sense of swing. Don't list anything that is impossible to play along with, like Tony Williams.
I'll get the ball rolling with:
Miles Davis - Freddie Freeloader from "Kind of Blue." Jimmy Cobb's swing is impeccable.

There are so many, but...well, there are so many. I could name dozens of songs that nobody here has ever heard of, you know?
"Good swing." Hell, there are hundreds of them.
Listen to Mel Lewis play "Don't Git Sassy" with the Thad Jones Mel Lewis Orchestra. Now THAT swings. It's...greasy.
Listen to Sonny Payne with the Count Basie Orchestra play "April in Paris." Oooh...it swings.
Oh I could go on and on...

By good swing, I'm referring to a solid "spang-a-lang." The spang-a-lang is easy to play, but difficult to play well. It takes a lot of work to develop a really swinging spang-a-lang. But I guess the term "swing" can be interpreted in many ways, so post whatever you want.

some favorites records
Gene Krupa-Let Me Off uptown, and Drummin' Man
Glenn Miller- String of Pearls, Little Brown jug
Woody Herman-One O'clock Jump
Any of the Andrew Sisters stuff (don't laugh those girls could really swing)
Count Basie and Frank Sinatra- It might as well be swing (excellent Sonny Payne)
The Tonight Show band- All the records with Doc and Ed Shaughnessy
Also try your library for any of the "Time Life" series of records (cd's) or if you are lucky enough to have a listening area of a library. Public or college
The list goes on for days, these are just a couple that come to mind on my first cup of coffee ths morning!

All great examples so far.
I would just add pretty anything Ed Thigpen played on. Night Train is still one of my favorites.
Check out Jeff Hamilton too. He's played with Diana Krall, Ray Brown Trio, Michael Buble, many many others.

In The Mood, String of Pearls, American Patrol, St. Louis Blues, Tuxedo Junction. We have over 1000 in our book (Talk of the Town - OKC) But one of my favorite is by Sammy Nestico - Cute.
Just to name a few.
