DW 8000

so i just bought a DW 8000 double pedal. i went in looking for a 5000 double pedal and then the 8000 was pointed out to me. after going back and forth playing the 5000 and the 8000 i chose the 8000. they did not have anymore in the store that was in the box so they are sending me one to my house. i paid 250.00 for it, i was told it was on sale.
does anyone else have this pedal? if so what do you think of it? is the 8000 above the 5000 in terms of the top of the line pedals?

Yes, the 8000 is above the 5000...and $250 is a steal.

I had this pedal, but recently sold it on ebay.

I posted a rant about how much I hated this model pedal after one of the springs broke on me. DW sent me a replacement spring for free, but I couldn't get the tension right afterward.

I much prefer the 5000 or 9000.
250 is a steal for a new one, though.

Man 250.00.I just purchased this pedal brand new in my local music shop for 200.00.Guess i did get a good deal.This pedal is one smooottth cookie.
