Does anyone know of a collection of written solos? The only one I've ever had was an excerpt from something called "Fantasy for drums", and it was in the book "40 Drumset Rudiments" I believe. Does anyone know where I can find more solos like that?

Look under rudimental snare drum solo books on Google. There's lots of books out there. I like the Wilcoxin and Cirrone books in particualr.

Wilcoxon's 150 Solos is good.

Or Rudiments and Motions by Frank Corniola (is an australian book, see if you can get it overseas).

If you are looking for recital style drum set solos (not solo transcriptions) try this

If you are looking for snare drum solos, the Wilcoxen, Pratt, and NARD books would be a good place to start.
