pearl powershifter eliminator double pedal

i have looked at some pics on line of this double pedal and i cant really tell if the connecting rod that connects the slave pedal to the main pedal is round or a hex or square style. does anyone know? im asking because i dont want a round one because of slipping.
for all of you that have this double pedal have you had any slipping problems?

Mine is half round and has a flat spot where the screw gets tightened. It gets tightened at two points on the connector and I've never had an issue with any slipping.

I purchased mine used this past January,

It has a hexagonal connecting rod,
and is tightened on either side with 2 screws.

No slipping ever.

And is an excellent pedal.
