Okay... here's an interesting question. I have a 4-piece Tama kit. I bought it used and it came with a double tom mount (it may have been a 5-piece at one time). The tom is on the left mount (towards the hi hat) and the other one is sitting unused. It looks kinda like this: http://images.wwbw.com/products/thumbs/Tama/151275.jpg

I was thinking... that would be a great place to put a splash. Does anyone know of a cymbal mount that will hook on to the Tama tom mount?

i had this same thing a while back. i ended up just folding mine back and out of the way.

gibraltar makes this (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Gibraltar-Ball-Joint-Extension-Arm?sku=490617) that has a mount on it. looks a little cumbersome but thats just me.

I mounted a splash on my DW tom holder using an Aquarian cymbal spring. I had to drill it a little bigger, but it works like a charm. I have the yellow one.

I was just looking on the Musician's Friend website and I found THIS (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Gibraltar-Cymbal-Medium-Boom-Ratchet-Attachment?sku=490638). I would imagine it would work nicely... out of stock though.

There are tons of ways. With all of the hardware options out there, you should have no problem fanagling some solution that works for you.

I can't tell in that tiny picture what the mount exactly looks like. Is it a ball mount? If so, I've seen a cymbal mount with a tilter and a ball on it, and that seems like the best option.

Just following up here guys. I picked up one of those Gibraltar cymbal mounts and it works perfect!!! I attached a pic below (sorry about all the crap in the background... I'm re-arranging and getting rid of stuff).
