Hi I was wondering if anyone has experience and can offer me some advice as to the best way to mount a jam block onto a pedal for left foot use. Also, what kind of beater would be best to use? I was looking at the Gibraltar SC-CBPM and Gibraltar wood beater, but only because I couldn't really find too much else. Thanks!

There are some ideas here http://www.drummerworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23501 and on the fifth page of the my kit's link below.
I made my own mount because I don't like the big heavy commercial ones. To get the most crack from a plastic block, I would advise using a bare beater shaft, or a wooden beater.
