Well done!! Nice review, you speak about many essential and important things. Though what did you dislike about this kit? What are some disadvantages?

Anyway, that`s helpful for others considering to buy such a kit. Good quality as well.

Hey Karl, to be honest I haven't found many disadvantages if any. It's no maple kit but you get what you pay for. Remember the MSRP is about 1200 which is fairly high, but I've never seen anyone sell anything at MSRP (besides ipods). I got this set for about 600 because it was a promotional item at my local store. I suppose the fact that this is Dixon's first attempt at selling drums in the States and they don't have as huge a following as say Tama or DW that that might also be a disadvantage. I stand by that I love this kit.
