You've got nice chops and a good authority over the time and groove. You could develop develop your ghost notes and your left foot (it seems to just die when you're playing those busy lick-fest type things), but other than that your playing is top notch!

The second video seems to lean more towards nu-jazz and fusion, since you keep a steady two-measure groove going throughout the clip. Even though you're swinging it, calling it "swing" is a bit of a reach. Anyhow, nice playing!

Like Wavelength said, you`ve got a nice feel for groove and timing.
I really like the tight snare work and the ideas you executed in your videos.

You`ve definitly got a very funky "backbeat" kind of sound, even when swinging along...you connected that nicely as well.
There were some balance issues at some spots...but that`s the usual thing. Training the outer balance of body and the inner soul-mind balance is an important thing for me as it is an essential base for a working groove.
Doesn`t matter in which musical genre we move...for me, 4-way independence excercices are really helpful. As such as this basic one: Playing eight notes with the feet (alternating: Right - Left) and then playing rhythm pyramid with various stickings over that "ostinato".

Anyway, I enjoyed it! Do you work with certain books?
