Hey guys , recently i've been drumming to quite alot of songs that come straight in on the drums. I play with headphones connected to my ipod , so when i want to play a song i have to press play , quickly put it down , pick up my sticks and play.
So just wondering , is there any program or anything at all that can put a clicker or something like that infront of songs?
Thanks very much!

I get the tempo right using my metronome and record onto my laptop (sound card input) using the windows sound recorder. Then I take http://www.nch.com.au/mixpad/index.html and lay the click track down putting the actual tune on a different track. You can see the wave formation of each track and by zooming in you can match up the beats. You can do the click track right through or just as an intro. Then save as an MP3 and upload back into your ipod. It's a bit of hassle so if anyone has any other suggestions I'm happy to learn.
You might also be able to use Audacity.
Here's one I did earlier:
