Well I felt like I had to follow up with my bad experience with HB drums. (And very upset that on the main page of drummerworld, there is a ad for them!)

I sent my snare to the great people at precision drum company and they put on a great throw-off! There was a lot of communication by them on the phone and by email and I would absolutely use them again!
Thanks Precision.

I've had troubles with Precision in the past, they cut a tom shell 'under' causing lug holes to off-center, also sent in some shell's for bearing edge recut years ago and had to call them when it was getting late for return, only to find out they had some dumb excuse about a guy on vacation, they never called or contacted me in either instance. Precision is not imune to screwing-up.

Anyone can blow it, you can probably find a lot of satified HB customers. Communication is key. Don't wait for them to call you, then it'll be you who didn't take action. Call the company, dealer, seller, builder 50 times if you have to, to make sure all is right.
