Re-Wrapping Drums

Has anyone here ever removed perfectly good wrap from a drum to replace it with a different color wrap?

I was thinking about re-wrapping a set myself and was wondering just how involved it would be.
Removing hardware is nothing... I am only curious about wrap.

How is it removed?
How is it applied?
What tools are needed for removal/application?
What products are needed for removal/application?

Any knowledge on the subject is more than welcome...

Most of it is glued on to, at times, not the best of plies. Some of it may splinter off.
Go to www.Ghostnote.com and peruse their site. The site is strickly for drum builders etc. I haven't done this and don't want to mislead, but some on here have and there have been a few nightmares.
