not to seen like a total willy, but you should have put this in the "my gear" section.
it's not too bad of a set-up, you just need to upgrade some of the cymbals and then it will be a great kit, i think even the ZBT ride sounds ok so you should be proud.

Do you mean 502?
Stage Custom is really not bad at all, it's a mid leveled kit. I like its sound very much.

How do YOU like the sound of the kit? We all have opinions, but none of it really means much.
I've never played that kit, but I do NOT like the lower end Zildjian cymbals. I have a couple ZHTs and they suck (I already have a couple A Customs in place to replace them when I play live or do studio work). I practice on the ZHTs a lot just to keep wear and tear off my A customs.
But I love Zildjian, because you don't have to go up to their custom Zs to get a great sound (and the Zs sound delicious). You can do quite well using the A Series cymbals, which are not as expensive as the Zs, but a great product still.
At the end of the day, your kit is your kit dude, be proud of it and rock on.

No,it's a Paiste 505 crash. They made them in late 70s and early 80s. Quite rare to find them these days. I got mine from my drum teacher for 50 $. Incredible sound. Comparable to 2002 series.
