OK, after a long while of debating with myself and asking you guys for advice, I finally took the plunge and decided to add a secondary bass drum to the ol' setup.

here's how it looked before:

and now:

All in all, the conversion wasn't that pricy, since I scored the bassdrum on ebay for $100 buckos, and all I need now to complete the set would be a tom stand to have my toms closer and lower.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

very cool. I bought a double bass pedal but never got into it.

Why do you have all your cymbals to one side?

Thanks, man. As you can see, the area where the kit is is kinda narrow, so to have the cymbals on both sides would represent some sort of hassle to get in and out of the area, besides, since I'm right dominant, I've found it easier to have the cymbals accesible on my right side.

I haven't discarded the idea of playing around with the setup and having the cymbals in an arch display, but that'll take some tweaking.

Much better than before, now all you need to do is get the same heads!

You play open handed?

Yep, I know, it's still a work in progress, there's a lot of stuff I must get to have the way I want. Some IC pedals for starters.

You play open handed?

That's right, TS, that's another reason why I have all of the cymbals on the right, I find them more accessible.
