Pretty fun to watch. It sounds like Cozy hit more than a couple rims, but still, that would have been so fun to do.

I never really understood the fascination with "drum records" of any type. Do most of you guys here care about them (I'm talking about speed records, stuff like that). To me, it has nothing to do with musicality, and I'm personally not impressed with them at all...what do other people think?

Regardless of how applicable they are in music, I believe speed records are great. I love seeing drummers who find ways to make their bodies and hands work most efficiently to play the fastest. Of course, the record shown in this video I just took as a joke, and I hope it's not to be taken seriously.

This is a classic ! Cozy left too early and many stuff he has done still need to be rediscovered.

Thank's for sharing.

I agree 100%. Why not? I'd give it a shot for fun.

I don't think the focus was really about the record. What facinated me was imagining the set up of the studio. Most music videos are not about the music either...its entertainment, not music, sad but true! Behind the scenes would have made a better film.

I can see another Olympic biathalon sport here. Put down the skis and the rifle, and jog along a 2 mile trail playing drums.

Wow, some of you guys need to lighten up; I would defiantly have a ball trying something like that; how about cutting the amount of drums down to 150 and actually playing a pattern.

That would have been fun, but I wouldn't call it a record, because I doubt anyone else has seen that many drums in one place, many of us could probably get just as much.

Seeing Roy Castle in that video took me back, I used to watch that show a lot when I was a kid. Great stuff.
