Lately i have been looking into kits and my drum teacher told me about his endorsers thumper custom drums... He says that they have the same shells as dw (Keller). What so you guys think about them?

keller shells are really nice shells. they make shells for about every custom company out there(not a bad thing)

and yes, DW no longer uses keller, they make their own..

Well, they do have a 'proof of excellence' page. Hey wait a minute, its nothing more than testimonials!

Everyone knows testimonials are one of the biggest illusions in marketing. Thumper has a myspace, that's dedication.

All drums leave "Thumper" with Aquarian Heads or you may recieve them headless.>Thumper website

Could be the next DW? For that price, they should give you any finish.
Why pay 3 large (+ shipping) for a kit you can make yourself for less?

Not that I wanna bust your ballon here, but $3000.00 for a satin oil finish, damm.
It's not even close to be a good price. If you look carefully you can have a Pearl Reference for that price.
