Hi!

Finally I could use my parent`s camera again and made these pics. If you like you can of course use them. Mainly photos of my 14" Istanbul Agop Hi-Hat and my Istanbul 21" Mel Lewis rivet ride.

PS: I used a Kodak DX7630 Easy Share photo camera.

Excellent image quality Karl especially in B+W. Add a few to the "Istanbul Agop Cymbals" group.

Those are great shots, especially the Remo head, and close up on the Istanbul logo. Last time you posted pictures I ended up using some as my desktop, nice job!

Beautiful pics. The black and white really flatters those agops, doesn't it? But looks like you'll be due for a new ambassador soon.

Ironcobra: You used it as a wallpaper? Wow, I`m flattered...but yeah, that`s possible indeed.

If anyone would like to have the big version of these pics, let me know.
Thanks for the comments! Do you have suggestions, what kind of logo or part of the set would you like to watch? If you`ve got some ideas, let me know... :-)

PS: I like my old Ambassadors, they feel warmed-up. lol

classy - makes me want to do the same with my Istanbuls - aren't they wonderful cymbals to hear and see?

Yes, indeed they are amazing to see as well. Being hand-hammered makes them look just beautiful. Sometimes when the light is right the hammer marks reflect the light so well...just look at Stan`s (Steamer) photos of his Agop pies.

Thanks a lot!

Nicely done! Those EasyShare cameras are pretty darn versatile for the money. I had one a while back and I swear sometimes I'd get better photos with that one over my expensive Canon. lol

Actually the Kodak EasyShare DX7630 isn`t that expencive. Here you also can read more about it:

Really valuable photo camera in my opinion. But okay, maybe it`s even better to save up for some drum gear? =)

You need to find a girl friend : ^ )

What`s that?

PS: Just kidding...but why do you think so? lol

Don't worry about that Karl. Those girlfriends tend to make your drum money disapear. LOL

hmm nice photos. My other hobby is photography, and when I want to take photos of my drums I always realize that there isn't enough light in the drum room... I'll probably have to take it outside some day.

Haha...muckster, now I worry even more. =)

And about the light. Yes, best is to shoot some photos with natural light which obviously is sunlight. My room gets quite bright over the day and I`ve made the experience that photos look even better when the sun goes down.

So, sayotsma, when you`ve got some photos of your stuff, let us know! :-)

Thanks guys.
