i was wondering if i should get a brace to put on my new drumset or not so i thought i would ask people what they think about them
so let me know what you think

You're thinking of a drum rack. They are very functional, and relatively cheap. They aren't the prettiest pieces of hardware on the block, but they sure do work well if you have a large setup. How many pieces is your drum kit? How many cymbals?

ya thats it i don't know why i was calling it a brace......its a 7 peice and you can never have enough cymbles so its going to be a large set

I use Pearl's ICON rack, it's very good and solid. It can't be quite as discrete as Gibraltar's, but it does look good, and if you have lots of stuff it will hold everything you can fit on it. I got a good deal on a used curved one, the straight one is a bit cheaper and might fold easier for transportation.
