The Istanbuls:
21" Agop Sultan Jazz Ride: Depends where you hit it, you can get washier or drier, geat cymbal for jazz but also makes a HUGE crash for rock.
21" Mehmet Sultan regular ride: Reminds me of an HH RBDR, but a bit more complex, slightly less ping, pretty heavy cymbal.
18" crash: beautiful, complex shimmering cymbal
16" crash: I'll be honest, it's not my favorite. It sounds like it's smaller than 16". But, from the other few Istanbuls I've heard, I think I just happen to like their larger cymbals. Their hi hats do sound very nice though.
15" Studio Crash: great cymbal, not complex like the Mehmets, more of a cutting, linear cymbal, if that makes sense. Very nice though.

As for updating from forums to something else, I like the price and quality of the MCX's, but it'll still have to wait until I'm out of college. Cymbals can be upgraded one or two at a time, but not drums. I might also look at higher end Sonors.

Beautiful! What a great practice space. You have a good snare and good cymbals, two very important parts of a good-sounding kit. speaking of which great selection in cymbals. One last thing: your kit looks really "professional" with the rack.

Looks very good. I really like the Hihat pedal on the right, and the slave on the far side, if I was to play with a double pedal, that's how i'd do it.

The setup looks very confortable too!

Thanks! I have two sultan rides, that one is a Regular ride, (see review below) and I also have a sultan Jazz ride, which weighs quite a bit less. They're great cymbals and they look awesome and unique as well!

Yeah, I switched their places because I use the hi hat way more than the slave, so it gets the most comfortable position, and the slave went to the outside because my knees got too close to the snare with it on the inside. It is quite comfy this way.
