Not to bad, you've got a nice angle on the toms there, and it looks comfortable to play.

How do you like that Pearl cymbal stand? I have the same one, fantastic isn't it?

yeah, it's very sturdy and extremely easy to adjust.
im very happy with it and it was £50 well spent

My first kit was a CB.
I loved that thing, mostly because I bought it for $75 and it came with everything I needed to play (including a set of ZBTs).
Yours looks better though. Mine ended up blowing apart (the lugs eventually cracked on the reso sides of everything but the snare and I lost tension).
Like I said though, your set looks like they've stepped up on the quality.

And gun metal gray is sweet.

CBs are very underrated. They are good, solid, affordable drums. 80 percent of the sound is heads and tuning anyway.

Agreed, the gunmetal finish is cool.

i just got a cow bell. oh yeah, it sounds awesome, i had to put a sock inside it because it was ringing out for ages and it was hurting my ears. that shortened the ringing

Looks great man, I have the same kit I use for practicing on, set up the same way, only I turned the tom arm around so I could stretch the tom out further to get a nice low angle. I use remo coated heads, and I think this kit has a nice feel and sound when tuned up. Do you have your tom on a stand, or is it mounted? Again, nice kit!

looks awsome man! you've kept it in great condition. We had an old CB at school we turned into a really nice little bop set.

My first set was a CB 700. Sounded pretty decent. Although I had to buy hardware replacements.

~Question~

I still have the original ride cymbal. I actually still use it like a crash now. What brand is it?

Sweet kit, looks much more classy as a four-piece.

One comment, if you ever want to get into photography: Just because it's in black and white, doesn't make it artistic!

Thanks for the comments everyone, it makes me feel wam and fuzzy to know that people like my kit. Not really. Joke.
I know, I was just experimenting.

Aw man, that kit looks just like my smokey chrome pearl export from back in the day, except for the lugs! That looks surprisingly sharp for a CB kit, most of them i've seen look very cheap but yours looks awesome.

My tom is just on a bass drum mount. I should probably get it off there but I haven't got another snare stand or one of those double stand things, so I suppose it will stay on there.
I think i'm going to try coated heads next aswell.
Thanks for the compliment!
