So I had been talking about going with a double bass pedal over the last couple of months but figured screw it, I'm not into that kind of stuff enough to want to go for it. So instead of going for the iron cobra double I'm going to get the single and the iron cobra hihat stand. My question to you is how is the hihat stand? I've fooled with pedal at guitar center and I really like it so I'm thinking I won't be dissappointed with the stand as well. Any input is welcome.

It's one of the better hi-hat stands on the market, and it has only two legs to make room for a double pedal if the time comes.

You can also get the Cobra Clutch, which will match the stand.

There are two. The HH805 and the HH905 - Slightly different but both are awesome stands.

It looks like you can press one of those pedals and it will hold the HiHat pedal down while you rock out on the Dbl Bass, and can still hit a closed HiHat. Then I am assuming the other pedal will release the clutch.
.....
Pretty smart idea, +1 Tama.

Tama makes one Iron Cobra hi-hat stand called a Velo Glide, and one called a Lever Glide. Off the top of my head, I can't tell you exactly what the difference is, but I think Tama's website explains it. I have owned a Lever Glide for about three years, and I still think it is amazing. It's extremely smooth, and I feel like I can do pretty much anything I want to with it. I don't think I've ever played another stand that felt as good to me as this one (although I'm sure there are some other very good ones too). Keep exploring your options, but certainly keep the Iron Cobra in mind.

I have the lever glide stand. It's the best on the market. Same features as the top of the line DW, but like 100 bucks cheaper.
I've owned both, and consider myself a bit of a gear snob. DW pedals are best, but Tama makes the better Hi-hat stand.
