nice kit man.

same first kit that i got.
except i got the ever so popular wine red wrap.
whereas your finish seems pretty unique.
i likeit.

just curious what set did you have before?

my first kit was a wine red rogers starter set. it sounded pretty bad and i had it for like 3 years and then finally got this new one.

and yeah my local guitar center didn't even have the pearl forum series kit in that color. i had to decide between black or wine red. and i didn't want either cause black is just boring and my old set was wine red. but i told my dad i wanted black just cause it was something different. turns out on christmas day i opened it and it was silver sparkle finish. he said the guitar center people were nice enough to call around to other guitar centers and see if they had it. they traced it back to a guitar center all the way in kentucky and i think it was actually the only one in america at the time. or one of the few...

Mate! My first kit was a Pearl Forum and it did not look that good. Pearl have done some great things improving each line. I still love my old Forum they are great little kits with some nice heads thrown on them. Still use some of the pearl hardware too. Cheap it may be but its built well and lasts. Great kit man enjoy playing it!

thanks man. i do enjoy playing it alot. and as for the heads, they are good, i haven't even had to take off the stock heads and upgrade yet cause they sound pretty good as is.
