Well over the last week I started fooling around with changing some things up. I finally decided on taking the side rack and ran in 'in tandem' with the main left rack. This allowed me to re-posistion my piccolo toms under the hi hat and above the high tom. This is much more user friendly than the spread out version I was playing before.

The infamous "less is more" approach. Never seems to fail. What do you think of the radia's? Are they usable in conventional musical settings, like with a band for example?

Are they usable in say a band for example?....absolutely ...all the time. Radia crashes actually are quite K-like actually. The flat ride is really nice and the high hats while heavy have a great slooshy sound to em. I don't take out the big kit for gigging too much though...don't feel like trashing the finish just to show it off. But I've recorded with em and they sound great. I usually change my cymbal set ups based on which I decide to take out. My other set up is basically A Zildjians with some A customs ( ride and splash) so I have a nice variety of stuff to choose.

No...I won them ...but what amounted to me buying them ( due to tax laws) at a much much lower price than normal. It was the Bozzio Chamberworks giveaway from 2006. I've spent alot of time personalizing the set up and practicing "big kit" stuff again. I used to have a large set up years ago. Most of the time I gig with a 4 piece ( my old set-Remo Mastertouch 6 piece -hardware problems turned it into a 4;-) the irony was I had been joking about the fact that some of my old hardware was falling apart at gigs when I joked about.."Well maybe I will win that contest I entered" ...my bandmates laughed it off....so when it did happen they were freaked.
