what would the best books be for basics for kick and hihats exercises? i want to continue to practice snare rudiments and can find that stuff online, but also want to learn altered kick drum placement and quicker beats (for single pedal, not double), as well as hat exercises (don't know enough outside of basics to know how to explain what i'm looking for!)
i got a page of "fat back" exercises for the kick and found them great but have no idea which book it came from. i also have a page of Accents to practice, but also don't know where they came from (all from a drum teacher i met with 3 times).
any suggestions? thanks.
