Great technique but zero charisma. Technique alone doesn't automatically add to musicality. Congrats for the chops but I think your music lacks... musicality. It's very technical but it isn't catchy. It's music made for musicians, not for a regular audience.
Where's the singer?

I enjoyed. But how do you do the stick trick where you spin it and hit each of your toms? I've seen this quite a few times but can't find any lesson or video on "how to." Virgil Donati does this trick.

Its a really simple trick called "Backsticking". You can find hundreds of clips on YouTube explaining it. This particular backsticking thing on the video is also referred to as "helicopter" or "three way backsticking". There are two different ways to do this that are commonly used.
One is explained by Thomas Lang on the Creative Control DVD
The other one is explained by Jeff Queen (free available at VicFirth.com)
Thomas also shows you how to orchestrate it on the drums (and at least for me, his version is easier to perform), so for that part I can recommend the DVD.
There is a third version of that backsticking type played by Vim De Vries (of the drumbassadors - check them out, they have a profile on DW) who is probably the best sticktrick drummer on the planet - INCREDIBLE. That version of Vim is to my eyes even better (looks cooler ;) )
I could probably make a video explaining all that if people are interested...
The Version Virgil used looks like Jeff Queens btw.
@threadstarter: This thread belongs into "Your Place". Nice technique you have, but honestly - I found it really boring after a while... Sorry. I think you could create much more tension and realease and build it up much more. But as said: Your playing tech is great so its just a matter of using it in a more interesting way (maybe leaving out a lot of the repetive stuff would help a great deal).
