hi guys, i just thought of chroming the old, sometimes annoying black starcastmount.
i feel happier with it now :)
just a question though, will the new starcast fit the old hoops?

Never mind, I just came across your other thread again. 2005. Did you chrome all the mounts?

I thought it was just performers in general that had those black mounts rather than just the old ones.

Huh?? You chromed your old starclassic mount? How did you do that, with a wrap or did you have the opportunity to make it take a acid bath?

Seriously looks really good now, fits with the hardware well obviously! =)

Looks great! I'm curious as well as to how this was done. I remember seeing on the Discovery Channel how things are plated with different metals, and it seemed far too complicated for a DYI process. Either way, nice job, I really like the new look.

looks nice, but your hardware is really dirty. if you cleaned it, i'm sure that it would be even more awesome.

i didnt chrome them by myself, theres a specialty shop here that adds chrome so i thought of trying it with starcast mount. seriously, sometimes those black mounts annoys me sometimes after seeing the new starcast.

yup i believe acid bath it is, because they dip it in to some kind chemical. 1 week waiting at the most. just waiting for the other mount to finish.

I took mine off and drilled into the shell. It looks ten thousand times better. as do yours.
