Ive been using a tama iron cobra rolling glide double pedal for almost a year now!
And progress is going pretty well!
But the only thing thats kinda lacking is triplets
I just cant seem to do them as well as i want to!
The second right foot stroke is never as strong as the first right and left stroke
Anyone got any tips of how to improve them... e.g with different exercises, techniques etc
Or is it just a case of practicing just doing triplets!
cheers

Slow it down and just do a lot of work on triplets.

I would just say practice, practice, practice. I've found that (for me) playing triplets at faster tempos is easier, and for some reason smoother sounding. That's why I've been working on playing slower tempos, but when I was starting, faster triplets just seemed easier to play. Another thing that I've been working on lately is playing 16th notes and 16th note triplets in alternating measures. I.E. one bar 16ths, one bar 16th triplets. Focus on the last stroke of your triplets, even exaggerate the power you put into the pedal (at first) to help train your muscles to make each stroke even. Just my $.02 take it for what it's worth.

Thats a good idea!

I always thought this was a good exercise. Play as sixtuplets. Any tempo is fine as long as you have complete control (aka: play slow).

Essentially you're splitting 6's right in the middle making them 16th note triplets. You start with your hands and then stop half way thru and then start one with feet. Stop that one half way thru and finish the one you started with your hands...then finish with the feet. Repeat. Hopefully this makes sense.
