Hello fellow drummers , Im new here and I have a question ... I´ve been interested in latin styles recently and I would like to know about some good DVDs , I´ve checked Walfredo reyes jr DVD and it was good but I want more...Any suggestions? and please if you have suggestions for Linear funk and Drum N bass or Jungle DVDs too , it would be really nice!

And....by the way....Any cool Electronic drummers out there to recommend? besides Verderosa or Jimbo?:...

Thanks in advance

hi and good morning

I'm in the process of producing DVDs here in my home studio to cover a few of the drumming styles with which I'm familiar. The "latin" style will be one of these styles. Also, FYI, I do create "one of" DVDs here in my studio for interested students of the drum. (That's not intended as a "commercial".)

What styles are you interested in?

Thanks for answering and asking...actually its pretty hard to find info about Brazilian styles , you can just find about samba and bossa nova , it would be cool to have some info about brazilian and caribbean styles ;)

I have Walfredo's DVD and its very good however its more of a performance based video....

If you want something more instructional I suggest Phil Maturano's Afro Cuban drumming DVD.....he's also a member here and is very gracious in answering questions....

Nice lesson! I like how you utalized buzzes and rimshots in your beats.
