I had a Sonor 2003 snare drop into my lap. I thought the 200X line was birch? 300X Maple? My sons 3007 being maple.
I did a search and I find some reports of it not being birch? Can someone please clarify?
Anyone own or ever play one? How does it sound? The one I have has original (appear to be unused heads. The snare wires look a little suspect (could have been a handling issue) If it’s a decent sounding snare I’ll put new heads on it and transfer the wires from his brass sensitone to this Sonor and replace the sensitone wires with PS blasters
