Gretsch Catalina Club Mini Mod Kit

Hey Guys im from Australia i am just wondering what the Gretsch Mini mod kit is like i herd it is a great kit for its price range and the 20x20 bass drum is excellent but i thought i should ask on here b4 i purchase it thank you i hope you all can help me

would you say there a alright drum kit mate

sXedanimalsXe, have you ever even played one? i have never played a mod but i own a club jazz and you would have a really hard time finding a set that sounds better anywhere near the price. my school has a yamaha maple custom and i prefer the sound of mine to it anyday. not sure about the mods though. gretsch has had some quality controll issues but the set i have is great.

What kind of QC issues have you heard about? I've heard people grouse about the drums not staying in tune, but that's about it.
