ive been playing around 5 years n finally planning on getting an acoustic kit. Ive been having my eye on DW kits cos they look and sound great. I know pretty much what i want such as the preferable sizes n finish. My question is how do u get it all into one kit? Mapex have all those m birch series, saturn series n all that and all you have to do is select one of the kits on offer. DW dont seem to do that.
this is one of the ones i like: http://www.dwdrums.com/showroom/images/exotic/Birdseye-Rich-Red-Burstt.jpg
is this only as a display or can you actually buy this?
cheers

DW Drums are built to your custom specifications, You choose the Depth and Width and finish of the drums and they build and ship them to you.

You can find a local shop that can help you with the ordering process. I recommend going here: http://www.fivestardrumshops.com/. These shops will be the best to order from IMO. Although I do think Guitar Center and Sam Ash offer the same type of service.
